Two law enforcement officials accused of robbing three businessmen Ksh5 million in US {dollars} and a kilogram of gold value Ksh6 million have been apprehended.
The arrests have been made after an investigation following a grievance filed by the businessmen.
It’s mentioned that the officers connected to Kilimani police station and Muthangari police station arrested the businessmen in Syokimau on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
The victims claimed that the officers who have been armed with pistols and rifles confronted them alongside Katani highway in Syokimau. On the time, they have been arrested and pushed to Kilimani police station with none cause for his or her arrest. After they arrived at Kilimani police station the officers didn’t e book them.
After they realised that the officers weren’t getting again to the station, the trio left the station and reported the matter at Mlolongo police station.
Nairobi county police commander Adamson Bungei assured the trio that police will take motion in opposition to the officers in accordance with the regulation.
