9 Nigerian nationals have been lucky to flee the wrath of a mob baying for his or her blood after suspecting them of witchcraft.
Within the incident that occurred on Sunday, February 26, 2023, the foreigners have been conducting prayers in Kangokii space inside Makongeni space, Thika when the locals who thought they have been conducting rituals attacked them.
The agitated mob gave the foreigners an intensive beating as they referred to as on different members of the general public to help in lynching them.
Law enforcement officials who have been patrolling the world on the time rescued the Nigerians and ferried them to a close-by hospital for therapy.
The victims sustained critical accidents from the assault by the locals.
When interrogated, the Nigerians strongly refuted the claims made by the locals and insisted that they have been conducting prayers.

The latest incident occurred in Kahuro Kiamikoe village in Murang’a county the place two aged girls have been burnt to demise over witchcraft allegations.
Mary Njoki, 75, and Jane Wambui, 85, have been stripped, crushed and burnt by a mob, who attacked them at night time, dragged them from their houses, and burnt them.
