Caroline Kwamboka alleged that the girl solely recognized as Emmaculate employed Joseph Obira to kill her, however she discovered about it earlier than it occurred.
Kwamboka informed Senior Resident Justice of the Peace Priscah Nyota that Emmaculate began by calling her and asking her to finish the affair.
In December final 12 months, she allegedly referred to as once more, threatening to kill her if she didn’t finish the affair.
“Two years in the past, I acquired a name from a lady who launched herself because the spouse of Tom Nyakinga, a person I used to be in a relationship with, and requested that I finish the affair,” she mentioned.
Then on December 18, she acquired a name from Obira who claimed to be her cousin working with the army. Since she didn’t have a relative within the military, she disconnected the decision.
“After two days the person referred to as me once more, claiming that he had seen my pictures and was mesmerised with my magnificence, requesting for a date, which I declined. He even acknowledged that he was requesting a switch to Lanet Barracks to be close to me as he requested for extra pictures,” Kwamboka testified.
On the time, Kwamboka was dwelling with Nyakinga’s cousin, Moraa, at Kiamunyi in Nakuru.
“I requested Moraa if she knew the caller, and she or he revealed that it was Emmaculate her aunt within the USA who had requested her to duplicate my gate keys,” she mentioned.
On January 8, Obira allegedly despatched a textual content to Moraa asking if they might meet on the town.

Obira is going through expenses of conspiracy to commit a felony between December 15, final 12 months, and January 8 in Kenya and the US.
He denied the costs.
Nevertheless, investigating officer Geofrey Kinambuga informed the court docket that Obira had earlier confessed.

Kinambuga requested the court docket to disclaim Obira bail, saying he was a flight danger and a hazard to the complainant.
