A Chief alongside eight Nyumba Kumi elders is at the moment being held at Manyatta Police Station in Embu county over arson and assault allegations.
In a report by DCI, the suspects who hail from the Kirigi sub-location have been accused of arson the place on Christmas eve – December 24, 2022, they stormed one of many villager’s houses and assaulted him earlier than setting his home on fireplace.
