Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has joined Kenyans on social media expressing their frustrations with Kenya Energy following a nationwide outage.

There have been frequent energy outages as a part of Kenya Energy’s deliberate outages.
On February 28, 2023, Kenya Energy issued an announcement alerting Kenyans of a scheduled outage from 9 am to five pm in elements of eight counties together with Nairobi, Machakos, Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Siaya, Kakamega, Kiambu and Kwale.
