Ngutwa Development & sharing forum (ND&SF) is a duly registered group whose core business entails working with communities, special emphasis on the youth especially on areas touching on environmental conservation,drug & substance abuse awareness, mentorship programs, education.
The group is currently seeing two kids through highschool.
To realize this the group uses the popular sport of football to mobilize youths, hence the now famous NDSF COMMUNITY CUP that has been running 8 years now since 2014.
This is arguably the most consistent, public initiated youth event in Makueni County.
The group draws its support mainly from member contributions and well wishers (both corporate & private).
The official opening for this year’s event was graced by Makueni County Assembly Speaker Mr. Douglas Mbilu and the county’s minister in charge of Youth, Sports, Gender and social services Mr. Nicholas Nzioka. It happened on 23rd December 2022.
Young boys FC were the tournament’s winners for year 2022, after beating KitiKyumu FC 4-0 in the finals.
Makueni Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili was the chief guest in the event’s finals held on Monday, 26th December 2022. She was accompanied by Mr. Nicholas Nzioka, the Youth, Gender & Social Services and Mr. Kisoi, the county’s sports director.
Other leaders present included Hon. Elizabeth Kawembe, the area MCA and the ND&SF group officials.
